Job Summary
Interior Designers at RH provide design services to walk-in clientele within an RH Gallery while collaborating with Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership. Responsible for delivering a luxury experience, executing small-scale design projects, supporting large-scale projects, and producing brand-appropriate design presentations. Applicants should have 2+ years of design experience, a degree in Art, Architecture, or Interior Design, and a professional portfolio. Proficiency in design software and strong artistic skills are crucial.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years design experience within a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail preferred
- Art, Architecture or Interior Design or similar degree preferred
- Professional portfolio required
- Strategic, highly organized and results-oriented
- Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a thriving interior design business
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on interior installation experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related space planning/rendering programs preferred
- Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred
- Proficiency with Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office and Google Applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 25 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
- Ability to maneuver effectively around gallery floor, stock room and office
- Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
- Licensed to drive preferred
- Ability to travel locally or out of state
