Interior Designer II (Themed Entertainment & Attractions)

Job Summary
Develop design solutions across all project phases through iterative, collaborative processes using sketching, 2D/3D modeling, and computational methods. Document projects via interior massing studies, space planning, and regenerative material exploration while coordinating furniture selections and specifications with manufacturers. Plan and lead design presentations, manage BIM models and documentation for internal and external stakeholders, and participate in construction administration including on-site observations and verifications. Own quality of work within assigned project focus areas, translating story and character into materials and spatial details for themed entertainment and attraction environments. Requires 4–8 years of experience in interior design with a professional degree.
Required Qualifications
- Direct experience in themed entertainment, attraction design, or immersive environments
- 4–8 years of professional experience in interior design
- Professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Experience across multiple phases of design, from concept through construction documentation
- Themed entertainment, attractions, or experiential design experience
- Working knowledge of Revit/BIM 360, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and consultants
Desired Qualifications
- Experience across other markets
- Exposure to Rhino, Enscape, or Lumion
- Familiarity with FF&E selection, specification, and manufacturer coordination
- Understanding of, or willingness to develop expertise in, interior materials and applicable building codes
