Job Summary
Proactively contribute to project success by preparing contract documents, including floor plans, details, and schedules, while manipulating spatial layout, color, and scale. Assist in creating presentation materials and models for client meetings, researching manufacturers to select sustainable materials and finishes. Contribute to programming and space planning analysis, providing area calculations and developing graphic communication skills to illustrate design concepts. Self-check work for accuracy and document compliance, coordinating effectively with partners and consultants within the Philadelphia studio. This Interior Designer II role requires 3-5+ years of experience and proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and BIM. Candidates must achieve LEED GA within six months and prepare for NCIDQ licensure.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in interiors, architecture or, related discipline
- LEED GA within 6 months of hire
- Professional Accreditation in one area of Living Design that interests you: LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House Institute Certified Passive House Consultant/Designer CPHC/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future Accreditation
- Preparing for NCIDQ
- Functional knowledge of 2D/3D production software
- Intermediate Revit
- Conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper
- Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
- Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay
- Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
- Environmental Analysis software such Ladybug and Climate Studio
- Building codes and guidelines as applicable (ADA, FGI, etc)
- Basic knowledge in programming, planning, and site analysis
- Preliminary design studies
