Interior Designer I

Job Summary
Support schematic layouts, finish selections, and documentation while assisting senior designers and architects. Contribute to project execution through mark-up revisions, renderings, and presentation materials. Coordinate with architectural teams, engineers, consultants, and vendors to maintain resource libraries and verify field conditions during site visits. Participate in client meetings and design reviews to evaluate design implementation. Build foundational knowledge of construction codes and sustainable design principles to support LEED or WELL initiatives. Maintain current proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite while applying SMRT standards and industry best practices across all project phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited program
- Associate degree or certificate with at least 2 years of commercial interior design role
- Technical knowledge of interior construction, codes, and documentation
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Skills with Bluebeam, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
