Interior Designer for Living & Hospitality projects

Job Summary
Lead the delivery of hospitality, residential, and mixed-use interior design projects from concept through construction. Prepare and coordinate technical documentation, including layouts, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and specifications. Develop and review detailed joinery, millwork, FF&E, and custom interior design packages. Translate client, brand, and operational requirements into practical, buildable design solutions. Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Architecture, MEP, Lighting, FF&E, and specialist consultants. Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, code compliance, and project standards are met. Identify and resolve design, coordination, and technical issues to support successful project delivery. Lead design reviews, workshops, and client presentations where required. Mentor junior team members and contribute to team development and knowledge sharing. Support continuous improvement of design processes, standards, QA/QC, and digital workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in interior design, architecture, or technical design documentation
- Proven experience delivering hospitality, residential, mixed-use, hotel, serviced apartment, commercial, or customer-facing interior projects
- Strong expertise in interior detailing, joinery, millwork, and fit-out documentation
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong knowledge of building codes, accessibility, life safety, and multidisciplinary coordination principles
- Experience producing interior elevations, sections, construction details, room data sheets, and schedules
- Excellent attention to detail, quality control mindset, and ability to review technical deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support projects across different stages and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, residential, hotel, serviced apartment, branded residence, or mixed-use environments
- Experience with FF&E coordination, furniture detailing, materials, finishes, and specification packages
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Enscape, or similar visualization tools
- Experience mentoring junior designers and supporting technical delivery
