Job Summary
Senior Interior Designer to lead the Education studio in Dallas, focusing on K-12 and Higher Education projects. Responsibilities include designing the interior strategy for premier educational environments, serving as the primary liaison with educational institutions, curating finishes and materials, developing sophisticated space plans, integrating with architectural and MEP systems, ensuring regulatory and code compliance (TAS/ADA), and mentoring junior designers to ensure delivery quality and design intent.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program
- Experience: Minimum of 58+ years of professional interior design experience, with a proven track record of leading large-scale educational projects
- Software Proficiency: Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), and visualization tools (Enscape or Lumion)
- Portfolio: A robust portfolio demonstrating excellence in educational design, from conceptual sketches to completed physical environments
- Communication: Elite presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholder groups and school boards
