Job Summary
Design high-end residential interiors from initial concept through final installation, balancing creative vision with precise technical execution. Source furnishings, lighting, and bespoke millwork while producing detailed construction documentation in AutoCAD and SketchUp. Coordinate directly with architects, contractors, and vendors to manage procurement workflows and track deliverables across multiple active projects. This part-time role transitions to full-time as project volume expands, requiring a dedicated remote setup with four hours of direct overlap between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM EST.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years of professional interior design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-end residential projects, interior architecture, and custom detailing
- Proven track record of taking projects seamlessly from initial concept through site execution and white-glove installation
- Strong understanding of space planning, material/finish properties, custom millwork construction, and residential lighting design
- Exceptional precision in documentation, scheduling, specification writing, and project organization
- Flawless written and spoken English communication skills
