Interior Design Professional I

Job Summary
Conduct client planning meetings, present plans for review, and gain customer approvals on educational, hospitality, healthcare, and municipal projects. Schedule internal tasks, manage project scopes and budgets, and oversee the installation of design elements and furniture. Produce as-built drawings, develop construction documents for finishes and furniture, and maintain comprehensive project documentation including records of decisions and approvals. Review design changes against standards, assist with punch list reviews, and present design proposals. Manage adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality while communicating effectively with internal and external clients. Local job site travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of interior design experience
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university in Interior Design
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite
- Computer skills: Revit
- Computer skills: Rendering software
- Expertise in layout
- Expertise in color
- Expertise in lighting
- Expertise in materials selection
- Expertise in installations
- Experience with Revit
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with other design programs
- Knowledge of industry best practices
- Knowledge of ADA Codes
- Knowledge of building materials
- Knowledge of construction details
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Sharp eye for quality assurance
