Interior Design Lead

Job Summary
Support key initiatives from creation to implementation by participating in conceptual framework ideation and coordinating with the Design & Creative Director to maintain on-brand aesthetics. Produce complete design packages including interior drawings, lighting strategies, and FF&E specifications while managing space planning, code analysis, and Revit handoffs. Liaise with supply chain leadership and vendors to optimize procurement, lead internal and external meetings with clear agendas, and ensure project updates flow regularly to management. This role reports into the London Design Studio Senior Manager within WeWork's Global Design Studio group, an interdisciplinary team of architects and designers driving the future of flexible workspace solutions across 37 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters degree in a design or design-related field, including but not limited to Interior Design or Architecture
- 4+ years professional design experience on high-quality commercial or hospitality interiors
- A commitment to delivering outstanding, high-quality design
- Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Self-directed with a high level of initiative and a 'can do' attitude and open to feedback
- Highly resourceful problem solver and quick learner
- Strong time management skills
- Exceptional at joinery design with a great understanding of critical FF&E principles and dimensions
- Having a good understanding of construction materials, a keen eye for finishes, and an ability to use colour combinations effectively
- Skilled staging and styling spaces
- Possessing good spatial perception and sensitivity towards lighting requirements in each space
- Passionate and curious about the built environment
- Maintain a desire for design knowledge
- Proficient in the following programs: BIM Revit (Essential), Enscape, all things Google, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office
