Interior Design Intern (Fall 2026)

Job Summary
Assist designers with aspects of design and lay-out of interior spaces and finish selections, including preparing finish boards and coordinating vendor product updates. Maintain and update LGA's interiors library while managing product sample ordering and receiving. Participate in team meetings and support the design studios across aviation, healthcare, education, housing, retail, and workplace sectors. This paid, part-time internship is available for students enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor of Interior Architecture or Interior Design program who have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and possess working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketch-up. Candidates must exhibit strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in-office in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Be enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor of Interior Architecture or Interior Design program
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies
- Have working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and Sketch-up
- Possess strong attention to detail
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication
- Have a desire to learn
- Be a self-starter who takes initiative and can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Be able to work in-office
