Job Summary
Interior Design Coordinator provides vital support coordinating interior design initiatives across the portfolio, working with VP of Interior Design, Junior Interior Designer, Project Managers, and external design partners to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with design/development goals. Responsibilities include maintaining project tracking tools, organizing design documentation and plans, preparing presentations and design packages, updating materials libraries and vendor catalogs, sourcing products and procurement paperwork, coordinating end-to-end order fulfillment and installation, managing plan reviews and communications with vendors/contractors, supporting FF&E coordination in final project phases, site visits for progress notes, and performing administrative tasks while aligning design decisions with project goals and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and AutoCAD
- Experience with Revit and rendering software preferred, but not required
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to manage spreadsheets, track data, and maintain project logs
- Familiarity with project management tools and document-tracking systems
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, design plans, and shop drawings
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; Spanish a plus)
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a collaborative team player comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders
- High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for interior design and a commitment to supporting high-quality project outcomes
