Job Summary

Coordinate interior design projects for assigned communities in Northern New Jersey, Tampa, and White Plains, managing amenities upgrades and property enhancements from start to finish. Own staging and styling for professional photography, drone footage, and video productions, ensuring spaces meet brand standards and camera readiness. Walk furnished suites regularly to verify design compliance, assist with capital renovations, and manage vendor relationships while maintaining project schedules and budgets. Research industry trends and visit competitors to drive sophisticated design aesthetics nationwide.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a design studio, architectural firm, or similar
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Photoshop
  • Experience or working knowledge in multifamily and commercial interior design, including space planning, FF&E selection, and project coordination
  • Experience or working knowledge of interpreting construction drawings and creating floor plans, elevations, construction documents, and 3D renderings
  • Strong eye for design, with experience creating design boards, selecting finishes and materials, and a willingness to learn and consistently apply AVE's interior design style across all projects
  • Ability to think critically and solve design challenges by balancing functionality, aesthetics, budget, and project requirements
  • Hands-on interior design/prop styling experience, including prior experience personally staging rooms and scenes with furniture, décor, and props for photo and video shoots
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner effectively across operations, marketing, and development teams
  • High level of detail orientation
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously across a national portfolio
  • Must have reliable source of transportation for required property visits
