Job Summary
Design Studio Specialist role involves conducting one-on-one in-store and in-home design consultations to drive store sales, creating and presenting design plans based on client needs, measuring spaces, staying current on sales/promotions, and assisting customers with services such as gift wrap, registry, catalog/internet orders, special orders, back orders, and furniture orders while delivering world-class service. Requires strong communication and clienteling skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and large orders, mobility on the sales floor, and availability for weekend shifts; full-time benefits are available for eligible positions, with part-time flexible shifts as specified. The role focuses on inspiring customers’ design preferences, coordinating complex orders, and promoting brand engagement through design expertise.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service and retail sales experience
- Strong communication, clienteling and customer follow-up skills
- Ability to complete and coordinate complex large orders within a variety of sales channels
- Experience in working with the elements of design preferred
