Job Summary
Complete daily Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs, plan and execute interior carpentry work with minimum supervision, and actively participate in demo activities. Properly read blueprints to install wall protection, set up ICRA partitions, frame walls, hang drywall, and install doors and hardware. Assist with acoustic ceiling and removable partition installation while working independently in large commercial projects. Night shifts are available, and reliable transportation is required. Required Qualifications
- 4 years minimum of proven experience as an interior carpenter in large construction sites
- Prior experience with self-perform interior work (installing doors, accessories, hardware, wall protection, drywall, framing, etc.) in large commercial projects
- Identify and properly use materials, hand, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
- Understand construction terminology and basic math
- Understand level, plumb, square, area, and volume concepts
- Basic lay out experience (transfer levels, off sets, set points etc.)
- Proven commitment to Safety
- Work in an organized manner
- Able to work night shifts when needed
- Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
- Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
- Minimum age 18+
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
