Job Summary
Lead all on-site construction activity from initial layout through closeout, partnering daily with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain workflow continuity. Direct and support field crews while performing regular site walks to verify code compliance, uphold safety standards, and identify risks early. Keep thorough project records including daily logs, progress reports, and change order documentation. This travel-based position requires nationwide site visits with full company support for lodging and per diem.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- proven track record in a superintendent role
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites nationwide
- Strong layout proficiency on complex commercial projects
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and structural plans
- Demonstrated skill in building and managing project schedules
- Sharp attention to detail
- Clear, effective communicator
- OSHA 30 certification
- Drug test
- Background check
