Job Summary
Architectural Designer for Interior Environments supporting New Centers: assist space planning, floorplan development, and construction document preparation for new ABC centers; coordinate with design, real estate, and construction teams; review drawings/specifications for code compliance and branding; facilitate permitting communications between general contractors and architects; perform site visits, research design trends and construction techniques, and support value engineering; prepare design presentations and project progress updates; collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and external stakeholders; utilize AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Salesforce, and Asana; stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies; Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture (or equivalent) and professional design experience; licensed architect a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience through professional work related to architectural or construction design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Salesforce, and Asana.
- Experience reviewing construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Working knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to evolving project needs.
- Licensed Architect is a plus.
