Job Summary
Interim VP of Marketing required for fixed-term maternity-cover contract in London. Lead the marketing function during a pivotal period of AI-driven transformation and growth, owning demand generation across paid, organic, email, and lifecycle channels to drive pipeline and revenue. Manage a 5–7 person team across London and the US (Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand & Content), with accountability for agency spend and contract allocations. Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to tighten the marketing-to-revenue loop, while accelerating AI-powered workflows and scaling experimentation. Ideal candidate has VP-level B2B SaaS experience (roughly $20–40M ARR), familiarity with enterprise contract values in the $50–100k range, and a strong track record in growth, performance marketing, and cross-functional leadership. Comfort stepping into an established function quickly, and a demonstrated ability to drive AI transformation and brand strategy in a fast-moving environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience at VP level in a B2B SaaS business or equivalent senior marketing leadership role
- Proven track record in growth, demand generation, and AI-enabled marketing
- Strong people management with cross-geography leadership
- Ability to drive AI transformation in a marketing function
- Ability to quickly assume responsibility in an established function and provide decisive leadership
- Experience managing budgets and agency relationships
- Comfort with hybrid/remote collaboration across London and the US
- Strong cross-functional influencing skills with Sales, Product, and Exec teams
- Ability to own and evolve demand generation strategy across paid, organic, email, and lifecycle marketing
- Experience with data-driven decision making for channel mix, spend, and performance optimization
- Experience with enterprise contract values in the $50–100k range and pipeline contributions
