Job Summary
Lead the store by modeling sales behaviors, coaching the team, and managing labor to stay on budget while ensuring operations hum with sharp zones and flowing freight. Drive customer satisfaction through direct floor presence, real-time feedback, and celebrating wins to build a high-performing culture. Handle fast changes and pivot quickly when the day throws curveballs, maintaining composure under pressure. Success is measured by sales and labor results, TruRating feedback, and store scorecard performance. This role requires flexible scheduling including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a starting hourly rate of $19.90.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Creative thinking
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25lbs and place/move merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet
- Ability to operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, and handheld devices
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing a store or large department — retail preferred but not required
- You've grown from the inside — promotion from assistant or co-manager roles is a big plus
