Job Summary
Interim School Psychologist at Pine Glen Elementary for the 2026/2027 year. Responsibilities include utilizing varied assessment and data-collection models to identify student and school-community needs, collaborating with families and staff to implement effective services, conducting assessments to support cognitive/academic skills and social-emotional/behavioral health, delivering counseling and behavioral supports, promoting culturally responsive practices and family-school partnerships, developing and delivering whole-class lessons on social-emotional health, and participating in professional development and required services administration including out-of-district evaluations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Completed an accredited graduate degree program at the specialist level (e.g., Ed.S., M.A. + CAGS; M.A./M.S.) or higher requiring a minimum of 60 graduate semester hours and a 1200 hour supervised internship in School Psychology
- Minimum of 600 hours in a school setting
- Hold or be eligible to obtain a valid School Psychologist license/certificate issued by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education School Psychologist, all levels
- National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) encouraged to apply
