Job Summary
Interim Director of Nursing leads compliance and elevates care quality in a long-term care setting. Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, and managing nursing staff; providing direct floor support; approving payroll within budget; collaborating with physicians and therapy teams to develop individualized care plans; ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to standards; and overseeing resources and training to improve staff competencies and resident outcomes. Requires a licensed RN in Texas and proven leadership in nursing management and clinical operations with strong geriatric nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
- Proven leadership in nursing management and clinical operations
- Geriatric nursing experience and restorative care mindset
- Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance
