Interim Physical Education Teacher

Job Summary
Develop effective lesson plans and teach physical fitness, health education, and team sports to Pre-K through 8th graders while assessing skill levels and providing differentiated instruction. Administer safety checks on equipment and fields, enforce safety rules, and coach sports within co-curricular programs. Evaluate student growth, confer with parents and administrators on progress, and organize internal and external competitive events. Create a structured, achievement-oriented learning environment that promotes wellness practices and builds strong family partnerships. Work as part of the Before or After Care team and support various school-wide initiatives. Requires two years of physical education teaching experience, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to adapt to dynamic priorities in an active setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 successful years teaching physical education
