Interim Equine Breeding Center Manager

Oversee the daily operations of the University's Equine Breeding Center, supervising students and staff, managing the breeding program, and collaborating with equine faculty. Responsible for care and stewardship of horses and facilities, maintaining labs and facilities, and presenting a positive image of the breeding industry to students, the university, the public, and guests. Requires outdoor exposure, occasional travel, a valid driver’s license with ability to drive a truck and large horse trailer, and the ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks. Will support student learning through laboratory exercises and ensure compliance with required clearances. Works in a teaching environment and may involve coordination with faculty and supervision of student workers.
