INTERIM ELEMENTARY TEACHER (Grade 8/ELA)- 8/31-10/9/26

Interim full-time Elementary Teacher responsible for Grade 8/ELA instruction. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to Tennessee Curriculum Standards, use data to tailor instruction, and provide accommodations/modifications per IEP/504. Collaborate with colleagues to plan, deliver, and reflect on instruction, attend PLCs, and maintain a positive classroom culture. Facilitate learning for brick-and-mortar and remote learners using appropriate instructional techniques and technology, monitor progress with formative assessments, and maintain accurate records. Requires punctual attendance, engagement during scheduled hours, and the ability to support students and families outside instructional time when requested. No prior experience required; a veteran mentor will support teachers new to the role.
