Interim Director of Pharmacy – Acute Care Hospital

Provide operational leadership for the pharmacy department while serving as Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC). Oversee pharmacy services supporting the hospital, outpatient infusion center, and hospital outpatient department. Review and verify medication orders, support sterile compounding services, and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal standards. Participate in departmental meetings, operational planning, and quality improvement initiatives while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and hospital leadership to optimize medication management. This immediate 3+ month assignment includes Monday–Friday hours from 8:00am–5:00pm with no anticipated on-call rotation.
