Job Summary
Interim Controller responsible for accounting operations, production of periodic financial statements, and maintenance of an effective system of accounting policies and controls. Oversees accounting department and outsourced functions; manages subsidiary controls, AP/AR processing, payroll, bank reconciliations, debt payments, chart of accounts, and filing systems. Coordinates annual budget and forecasts, calculates variances, and provides financial analyses for capital investments and contract negotiations. Ensures timely external auditor information and compliance with debt covenants and regulatory filings. Requires Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/ business administration and 10+ years’ experience; CPA a plus; experience with ERP systems and Excel; Private Equity experience a plus. Location: Los Angeles, CA with hybrid remote arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration required
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is a plus
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
- Strong experience with multiple ERP systems as well as Excel
