Job Summary
Lead the financial management and capital strategy for the company's renewable energy portfolio, serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on growth opportunities and business planning. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning while evaluating acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives. Manage accounting, treasury, tax, and audit functions to ensure compliance with standards and robust internal controls. Drive project economics across development, construction, and operations, reviewing investment cases, power purchase agreements, and commercial contracts to meet return thresholds. Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and liquidity risks, including exposure to energy prices and foreign exchange. Lead investor communications, board reporting, and fundraising activities, building relationships with shareholders and lenders. Build and develop a high-performing finance organization with a focus on accountability and succession planning.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of progressive financial leadership experience
- Minimum 5 years in a CFO, Finance Director, or senior executive finance role
- Strong experience within renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, power generation, energy transition, or project finance sectors
- Experience managing investor relations and board-level reporting
