Job Summary
Lead either the Junior Varsity or Freshman volleyball program at Waterford High School for the Fall 2026–2027 season as an Interim Girls Volleyball Coach. Responsibilities include planning and executing daily practices focused on fundamental skills and team strategy, coaching all scheduled games/tournaments, developing players’ skills and rotational awareness, collaborating with the Interim Varsity Head Coach to align with program philosophy and systems, ensuring safety and supervision during practices and travel, maintaining equipment and first-aid supplies, and maintaining professional communication with players, parents, the athletic director, and opposing coaches. Requires CT Coaching Certification and current CPR/First Aid/AED certification; prior competitive volleyball coaching or high-level playing experience; availability for all weekday practices and weekend matches as per the Fall season. This is a one-season interim appointment for 2026–2027 with stipend per WFCT agreement.
