Job Summary
Interim Asset Manager at Sunrock, Hamburg. Responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of solar assets, ensuring contractor compliance with standards and timelines, overseeing contractual agreements and KPIs, and coordinating across technical and operational teams. Serves as primary contact for stakeholders (building owners, tenants, contractors, energy suppliers) to align interests, translate needs into effective solutions, and safeguard Sunrock’s commercial and operational interests. Requires Bachelor’s level thinking and strong stakeholder management, contract-management experience with external contractors, ability to operate in a dynamic commercial/legal/technical environment, proactivity, ownership, and full professional German proficiency (C1/C2). The role is hybrid in Hamburg and supports Sunrock’s expanding rooftop solar installations, battery storage, and smart energy solutions while maintaining safety and performance across a portfolio of ~300 assets and 600 MW+.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Full professional proficiency in German (C1/C2)
- Experience coordinating external contractors in contract management and performance monitoring
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment balancing commercial, legal, and technical aspects
- Proactive and results-driven mindset
- Sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks and projects
