Interim Area Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily operations across multiple retail store locations, lead and coach Store Managers, and drive sales, KPIs, labour, and budget performance. Analyze store performance, customer feedback, and trends to implement improvements while maintaining compliance with company policies and provincial/federal cannabis regulations. Build succession plans, develop future leaders, and foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture. Review financial reports and prepare performance updates as required. This role involves flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will manage a portfolio in Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-unit retail management experience
- Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, labour, and KPIs
- Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management or a related field
- Working knowledge of cannabis regulations or experience in a regulated retail environment
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between store locations
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
