Interim ALE Elementary Teacher K - 5

Job Summary
Teach K-5 students using the Board of Education's adopted curriculum, implementing effective instructional strategies and assessing performance to adapt lessons for individual needs. Monitor student progress, establish classroom behavior standards, and communicate regularly with parents regarding academic and social growth. Supervise students during recess, before and after school, field trips, and extracurricular activities while maintaining accurate records and participating in grade-level collaboration and curriculum development. This interim contract covers the remainder of the 26-27 school year for a full-time role reporting to the Building Principal, with a full-time contract of 190 days.
Required Qualifications
- Must meet AR licensure requirements
- Has the ability to lift at least 40 pounds occasionally
- Ability to endure prolonged standing, walking, sitting, occasional reaching above the head or the shoulders, bending, squatting, and kneeling
- Teachers could be asked to teach at various locations to serve the needs of students
- Out of state applicants please provide Arkansas Department of Education's verification of provisional licensure eligibility
