Job Summary
Manage a team of 10-15 caregivers, kitchen, and housekeeping staff while overseeing daily operations at the Long Term Care Facility. Effectively handle Human Resources functions including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising personnel to ensure optimum resident care. Participate in policy creation, manage resident medications and clinical records, and oversee Kitchen and Housekeeping functions. Handle financial responsibilities such as payroll, supply ordering, and managing resident receivables. Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations through weekly debriefs and performance reviews. Availability for On-Call 24/7 is required. This age-in-place facility focuses on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of its patients.
Required Qualifications
- Availability for On-Call 24/7
- At least 21 years of age
- Current, valid, US drivers' license for at least one year
- Minimum of five (10) years experience in progressively responsible human services functions
- Three (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity
- Good skills with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to safely lift 20lb to 50lb of supplies
- Able to perform hands-on duties for all roles if needed
- Must be able to successfully pass a CORI, professional reference, and possibly national fingerprinting and driving record check
- Well-Organized, able to plan in advance and detail-oriented
- Sound judgement, maturity in dealing with people, Good energy with a take-charge attitude, detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience preferred in a Rest Home, Assisted living, home health, long term care or hospital industries
- Experience with behavior modification
- CNA or LPN qualification
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
