Job Summary
Counsel students struggling with campus adjustment while managing assigned programs and projects with fellow intercultural leaders. Collaborate respectfully with peers, submit weekly work accounts, and attend required meetings and training throughout the semester. Utilize Google tools and the Banner Platform to facilitate communication via email, social media, and print advertising for program events. Disciple peers in cultural and ethnic minorities, educate the community on diverse student populations, and coordinate team events. Maintain punctuality, dress professionally, and communicate openly regarding conflicts or emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated willingness to apply biblical standards to areas of race, culture, ethnicity, and biblical justice
- The ability to make others feel welcome and to relate well with a wide range of people and personalities
- Demonstrated ability in sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality, especially when working with sensitive information
- The ability to counsel and collaborate with other students respectfully and constructively
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative on projects or in previous work circumstances
- Knowledge and willingness to learn Google Office Suite (particularly Docs, Sheets, and Gmail)
- Must be a Covenant student
- Dress professionally and appropriately for your job
- Attend chapel services at least once per week, on average
