INTERCOMPANY ACCOUNTANT

Job Summary
Prepare and post intercompany journal entries with business justification and approvals while investigating mismatches to prevent aged balances. Collaborate globally to ensure positions reconcile and net to zero using NetSuite OneWorld for matrix matching and automated eliminations. Coordinate monthly cash netting and settlement cycles to optimize liquidity, monitor FX impacts on loans, and manage cross-border disputes. Own receivable, payable, and elimination balance sheet accounts, preparing audit-ready reconciliations and reviewing transactions for transfer pricing compliance. Partner with Controllership, Treasury, and Tax teams to align settlements and serve as the primary contact for auditors. Identify process bottlenecks and recommend system or policy improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of corporate accounting experience focused on intercompany processing within a multi-entity global environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Full or partial professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld, including Intercompany Management, automated eliminations, and multi-currency functionality
- Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS, with the ability to manipulate and validate large datasets
- Strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting, FX revaluations, Cumulative Translation Adjustments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Familiarity with transfer pricing concepts, cross-border transactions, financial controls, and audit requirements
- Sound accounting judgment and the ability to investigate exception-based and systemic reconciliation issues independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily reconciliations and month-end deadlines
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confidence, diplomacy, and persistence when resolving disputes and coordinating with global accounting teams
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to accuracy, process improvement, and audit readiness
Desired Qualifications
- Full or partial professional accounting qualification, such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA, is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite OneWorld is highly preferred, including Intercompany Management, automated eliminations, and multi-currency functionality
