Intensivist (Part-time) (Physician )

Job Summary
Manage patients in the expanding Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, including those with heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, or orthotopic heart transplant. Perform daily tasks such as floating Swan-Ganz Catheters and managing VA ECMO or LVAD support. Maintain academic experience by educating medical students, residents, and fellows while participating in research. Join the multidisciplinary team at the University of Arizona & Banner University Medical Group's Phoenix Campus, located in the newly-built Banner University Medical Center. This role requires Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine and is part-time.
Required Qualifications
- BE/BC in Critical Care Medicine by ABA, ABIM, ABS
- Academic experience with the desire to educate medical students, residents and fellows
- desire to participate in research
- Experience managing patients s/p heart transplant
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO
- Background in Anesthesia
