Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Nocturnist Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. Work a 12- to 14-hour night shift schedule (6 on, 8 off) with approximately 2,016 hours annually. Provide coverage across Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICUs in a 64-bed critical care tower, with support from Advanced Practice Providers. Opportunities to teach residents, utilize point-of-care ultrasound, videolaryngoscopy, bedside bronchoscopy, and prone positioning; ECMO initiation followed by transfer to a quaternary center. The role supports a comprehensive critical care program in a Beacon Units environment and includes an attractive benefits package, relocation assistance, PSLF eligibility, and a path to licensure in Pennsylvania. Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License
- DEA certification
