Job Summary
UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA seeks a full-time Nocturnist Intensivist to join its hospital-based adult critical care practice. The role supports a 64-bed ICU tower with night shifts staffed by one physician and two APs, covering Medical, Cardiovascular, Trauma, Surgical, and Neuro ICUs. Qualifications include MD/DO with accredited Critical Care training, board eligibility/certification in Critical Care, PA license ability, and DEA; opportunities to teach residents; incentives include sign-on, relocation, CME stipend, PSLF-eligible employment, and malpractice insurance. The position offers relocation benefits and a pathway to practice in a high-acuity regional referral center with modern facilities and ECMO capability.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school
- Accredited Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program completion
- Accredited Critical Care Fellowship Program completion
- American Board Eligible or American Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
- DEA certification
