Job Summary
Conduct emergency support for individuals with complex care needs, including those with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health diagnoses, across the South Coast. Provide person-centred, high-quality assistance at extremely short notice when requested by commissioners, the NHS, or other social care providers. Manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy while delivering safe, consistent care in crisis situations. Travel at short notice to support clients, utilizing your own vehicle and UK driving licence to drive the person's car when required. Maintain a background in 2:1, 3:1, or 4:1 support provision within social care for at least two years. Work within the Enablement Hub's Intensive Support Service, which offers paid induction training, coaching, and a pension scheme.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years+ experience working within Social Care
- Have worked in 2:1, 3:1 or 4:1 support provision
- Driver with own vehicle
- UK Driving license
- Active, mobile, resilient, empathetic, encouraging, supportive, patient, passionate about person centred social care
- Experience of positive behaviour support
- Experience of intensive interaction
- Experience of personalised care planning
- Able to work in the UK
- Willing to travel at short notice
