Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and instructional sessions for students with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders using applied behavior analysis principles. Maintain safety-care fluency, execute de-escalation strategies, and supervise learners during non-instructional periods such as lunch. Collect behavioral and instructional data accurately, update electronic systems, and alert supervisors regarding variable progress or safety concerns. Collaborate with Behavior Analysts, teachers, and related service personnel to coordinate care and participate in incident debriefings. Safely transport learners to school inclusion settings and community-based programs while promoting independence and managing personal belongings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Fluency in Safety-Care implementation
- Ability to implement complex behavior intervention plans
- Ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Prior experience working directly with students admitted to the Intensive Neurobehavioral Classroom (for internal candidates)
- Experience supporting individuals with severe aggression, self-injurious behavior, property destruction, or elopement
- Experience in educational, clinical, residential, or neurobehavioral settings serving individuals with significant behavioral support needs
