Job Summary
Provide in-home Multi-systemic Therapy for emerging adults (17 to 26 years old) and families involved in the justice system. Conduct assessment, engagement, treatment planning, crisis intervention, case management, and discharge planning in accordance with the MST-EA model. Engage clients in comprehensive safety planning and develop collaborative relationships with referring Probation Officers and community agencies. Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, and weekly paperwork accurately and timely. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, weekly group supervision, and quarterly booster trainings. Maintain flexible hours to ensure availability for clients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited program in social work or related field
- Must be license eligible
- Associate license required (i.e. LMSW, MFT-A, LPC-A)
- Demonstrated ability to provide culturally competent services
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to engage in statewide travel
- Ability to provide 24/7 on-call rotation coverage
- Physical abilities required to accomplish the essential functions of the position
- Ability to function safely in therapeutic situations
- Ability to provide services in clients' homes or host settings
Desired Qualifications
- Professional license in the state of Connecticut
- Knowledge of population and criminal justice system
- Bilingual, Spanish-speaking
