Job Summary
Provide evidence-based mental health treatment to acute youth in Pinellas County via in-home visits or telehealth, conducting assessments, treatment planning, and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Address crises involving suicide risk, aggression, self-harm, substance use, and severe mental illness symptoms while collaborating with community partners. Complete and maintain documentation accurately and participate in supervision, staffings, and team meetings. Respond to family crises via phone or Zoom during on-call rotation, including evenings Monday through Friday. Maintain productivity levels per agency standards while working primarily off-site in client homes with travel between locations.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mental Health and Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
- Registered (or eligible to become registered) in the state of Florida as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, or a Registered Marriage & Family Therapy Intern
- Licensure (LMHC, LMFT, or LCSW) preferred
- Two years of professional experience in providing services to persons with behavioral health disorders
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must have a negative drug screening prior to hire and throughout employment
- Must pass a Criminal Background Check, local checks, and DCF Level II Background Screening prior to hire and annually
- Must be in compliance with Florida Laws and Administrative Codes with fingerprinting and determined to be of good moral character
- Must have valid Florida Driver's License and pass motor vehicle checks prior to hire and annually with acceptable driving record maintained throughout employment
- Must have reliable vehicle, valid registration, and valid vehicle insurance
- Must be available at least 3 evenings a week, Monday through Friday
- Computer Literate
