Job Summary
Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to a patient population independently in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing the nursing process to evaluate responses and adjust plans. Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the healthcare team while advocating for patient needs based on clinical knowledge and cultural considerations. Document the nursing process accurately in appropriate formats and apply the Synergy Model for Care to personalize patient interactions. This Full Time NIGHTS ONLY role (36 hours weekly, 7pm–7:30am) involves travel between Emory Healthcare locations. Candidates must hold a Georgia RN license with 2.5 years of recent ICU experience and possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and FHM certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 2.5 years of recent experience in Intensive Care Unit within past five years
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- FHM certification
- Professional certification in at least one relevant specialty area
- Completion of professional certification in relevant specialty area within 1 year of employment
- Shift: Full Time NIGHTS ONLY (36 hours weekly)
- 7pm – 7:30am(nights)
- Travel between locations within Emory Healthcare
- Lifting 50 lbs max
- Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs
- Occasional to frequent standing & walking
