Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

Job Summary
Provide direct, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their needs. Monitor hemodynamic and physiologic data to identify condition changes, administer medications safely, and respond promptly to emergencies. Communicate with physicians regarding status updates and guide other nursing staff in care delivery. Document all interventions accurately and provide education to patients and families. Ensure privacy compliance and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred. Full-time variable shift.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
