Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit delivers care to critically ill adults, including assessments, developing care plans, and adjusting complex medications and drips to maintain hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation. Responsibilities include monitoring advanced/hemodynamic status, use of invasive equipment, administration of intricate medication regimens, and ensuring patient safety. Ideal candidate will have ICU/critical care or step-down experience; BLS/CPR certification required, ACLS certification preferred with post-hire support. This is a full-time, day-shift role (36 hours/week) with rotating weekends and holidays; union position with RN Step Program pay range. Massachusetts RN license and ADN required; 1+ year of ICU/acute inpatient experience and training pathways available for certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
