Job Summary
Intelligent Manufacturing Engineer role focused on ensuring factory-infrastructure systems (Siview) and material-control systems (MCS) function to support efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include developing planning capabilities to boost fabrication throughput, supervising technicians, coordinating with robotics, inspection tools, and informatics systems, and integrating equipment data streams to enable system setup, monitoring, and performance adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Management, Production Engineering, Industrial Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of engineering experience
- Education or experience in at least 4 of: Lean Manufacturing, DMFA, CAD, SPC, PFMEA, make vs. buys analysis, ERP systems, DOE, MPS Management, Additive Manufacturing, Technology Management
- Education or experience in at least 4 of: graphical build documentation, fixtures design, root cause and corrective action investigation, nonconforming material disposition, SolidWorks and solid model, Multivariate Analysis, Non-Linear Programming, Machine Learning
- Education or experience in at least one of: Python, SQL, Matlab, VBA
- Must be willing and able to work on-site at Phoenix, AZ
- Standard Work Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
