Job Summary
Intelligence Planner - Expert needed to support Air Combat Command and the 363 ISR Wing at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA. The role delivers advanced intelligence planning and analytic support across joint operational planning environments, integrating Defense and National intelligence capabilities into operational planning within the JOPES framework. Responsibilities include conducting global, enterprise-wide intelligence analysis; applying advanced analytic tradecraft to targeting, training development, and airborne cryptologic operations; coordinating across air component and external stakeholders; developing and validating TTPs for target systems analysis; providing strategic guidance to senior defense planners and policymakers; overseeing training, certification, and mission-qualification programs; and supporting campaign, deliberate, crisis, and time-sensitive planning. Requires TS/SCI eligibility, 15+ years of relevant experience, and a Master’s degree or equivalent combination; willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS and to comply with all policies. The position emphasizes integration of intelligence capabilities into joint operational planning, red-teaming support, and development of analytic methodologies for complex intelligence problems.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with an additional five years of relevant expert-level experience (for a total of 20 years’ experience in lieu of a Master’s degree)
- Minimum Years of Experience: 15 years of relevant intelligence planning, ISR operations or related mission areas
- Deep understanding of Air Force and Joint targeting doctrine, processes, and production standards
- In-depth knowledge of military decision-making and JOPES process
- Ability to obtain and maintain required program, system, and facility access
- Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI eligibility with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) investigation
- Willingness to comply with DoD, Air Force, and Intelligence Community policies
- Availability for CONUS and OCONUS support as mission requirements dictate
- Experience leading large, complex intelligence programs and cross-functional teams
- Experience providing strategic guidance to senior leaders
