Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive background investigations using investigative databases, public records, and OSINT resources to identify digital footprints, associates, and lifestyle inconsistencies. Perform social media investigations across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter to locate individuals and develop investigative leads. Prepare detailed investigative reports, timelines, and summaries while maintaining accurate case documentation and strict confidentiality. Collaborate with management and field investigators to support strategy development and pre-surveillance intelligence. Review claimant statements, medical records, and supporting evidence when applicable. Work remotely with a reliable computer and high-speed internet, utilizing software systems such as Trackops, Clear, TLO, IRB, Page Vault, Hunchly, and Brave Browser.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical investigative standards
- Strong typing and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Journalism, Cybersecurity, Communications, or related field
- Prior investigative experience
- Experience in insurance investigations, SIU, surveillance, background investigations, law enforcement, military intelligence, legal investigations, journalism, cybersecurity, fraud analysis, or related fields
- Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and investigative research techniques
- Experience using the following software systems: Trackops, Clear, TLO, IRB, Page Vault, Hunchly, Brave Browser, MS 365
