Intelligence Analyst (China)

Job Summary
Intelligence management analyst on a mission-focused program in the Virginia area. Responsibilities include integrating mission management of collection and analysis activities related to country-specific economic and technical capabilities; managing intra-agency engagements to develop open-source assessments; advising the National Intelligence Manager on planning and coordinating strategic documents, policy development, and external engagements; maintaining awareness of economic statecraft, supply chains, emerging technologies, and efforts to undermine democracy; preparing high-level Executive Point Papers and Talking Points for senior IC members, policy makers, and Congress; producing written products and briefings, and supporting decision makers with concise analysis and briefing materials.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Poly
- Regional expertise in the Area of Responsibility (AOR)-China
- Functional expertise with intelligence analysis relating to economic and technical capabilities
- Experience with analysis and analyst tools
- Experience with conceptualization and assessing qualitative and quantitative information
- Experience working with and briefing various IC-elements and Joint Staff
- Strong understanding of collection and publication processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with USG senior leaders and to coordinate, network, and communicate across the IC
- Ability to provide concise, articulate, polished writing of analytic documents, summaries, issue papers, talking points, and briefings for senior-level staff
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency working in a fast-paced collaborative environment
- Typically requires a BA degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience
