Job Summary
Provide Canadian patent, trademark and IP counsel; communicate with clients on matters including preparing, filing and prosecution of patent and trademark applications; provide patent infringement and validity opinions; conduct trademark searches and drafting trademark registrability options; draft and negotiate patent licenses; provide IP transaction support; work independently with minimal supervision; remote work with a collaborative, inclusive culture; role based in Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of related Intellectual property, patent and trademark experience
- Experience preparing and prosecuting Canadian patent and trademark applications
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision
