The role requires collaboration with engineering, product, marketing, and business partners, and involves supervision of IP matters, due diligence related to IP in mergers and acquisitions, and partnership with internal and external counsel. Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Licensed to practice in relevant jurisdiction(s)
- 1+ years as a registered patent attorney or equivalent experience
- Ability to conduct patentability analysis and draft patent applications
- Experience with IP agreements including license, NDA, and JDA
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- IP license negotiation and drafting experience preferred
- Extensive USPTO patent prosecution experience preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Attention to detail and professional demeanor
