Job Summary
Direct Support Professional provides person-centered support to individuals with intellectual disabilities to help them live full, meaningful lives in their communities. Key responsibilities include creating a healthy, engaging home environment, assisting with daily living skills and personal care, supporting social participation and independence, transporting individuals to activities, employment, and appointments, advocating for health and independence, building positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries, and collaborating with team members and families to achieve meaningful outcomes. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), effective communication, reading/writing, basic computer skills, and completion of required trainings (Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR) within mandated timeframes.
Required Qualifications

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply written information
- Basic computer skills, including use of software and web-based systems
- Ability to successfully complete Medication Administration, First Aid, CPR, and other required trainings within mandated timeframes
